Re: Vista Updates for RTM
There have been some Windows updates, etc. available, however, not enough
for me to stick with RTM... I find Vista just a little too unreliable, lack
of hardware/software support, etc. for me to stick with it for a while. I
switched back to XP... at least things work in XP.

RE: Vista Updates for RTM
On first install there were updates for device drivers (in my case for a SB
Live card, Printer and my Logitech Messenger Webcam - the webcam driver
update however never worked, had to manually install its XP driver instead)
and Defender.

Most of the updates since have been Defender updates. There was one update
for Mail and another for the Malicious Software Removal Tool.

Very few so far. I don't use Windows Defender. I think malware is some
sort of hoax.

Then you've never had to clean an infected machine.

Re: Vista Updates for RTM
Nothing for the OS on Patch Tuesday this month. Windows Defender updates,
two for Office (all versions). The usual monthly scan for malware. That's
it. This was an extraordinarily light month for all systems. One of my XP
machines had four updates, including Office and the malware tool.
