Not possible to activate

Hy all,

I have just purshared a lot of Vista Business licences...;
I have install only one pc the last week, but when i try to activate the
licence and have this message :

no dns enable to find ...

And he closed the windows.
I have no choice for activation, only on line ... because the pc is on a
network.
After that , I have disconnect the pc of the network. The same think.

Anyone have a solution ?

is your Vista computer online and conected to the internet? Make sure your PC
can connect to the internet. Your DNS error suggests that you are either not
online or you have some issue with your DNS.

Hello Kevin,

Yes i conform to you, the entire domain is connected on the net.
But i have a strange answer by a friend .. Do you need install a license
server on the dns server ?? kms 2.0 ?

He as the answer from microsoft : this software is not ready at this moment
!!!

Look in Help and Support for dns and follow the instructions for setting up
the proper settings.

Hi,

If you have a KMS volume key as opposed to a MAK volume key, then yes you
need a license server.
