Bug Report: Vista x64 - STOP error in FVEVOL.SYS at shutdown/resta
In Vista Ultimate x64 with Bitlocker-encrypted drive on Thinkpad T60 laptop,
selecting shutdown/restart occasionally causes BSOD at last phase of shutdown
referencing FVEVOL.SYS (no event written to event log, unfortunately.) The
most recent failure on this particular occasion was on restart shortly after
the completion of the bitlocker volume encryption process.

Note: these stop errors have also been seen on more than one occasion on
another Thinkpad T60 with Vista x64 and bitlocker; speculation, poss related
to large amounts of "churn" in the filesystem. Noted that event log states a
volume shadow copy was auto-deleted for drive d: (the small bitlocker boot
partition) immediately beforehand on this occasion, in order to keep within
the allowed space limit. On a second machine, some instances are possibly
associated with turning System Restore on/off, then restarting the system.
