Icons In Start Menu
Anybody having troubles with some icons not showing up in Start Menu? Acronis
True Image Home 10.0 and Collapse Deluxe don't show up on mine. Running Vista
Ultimate 6000. Thanks.

Re: Icons In Start Menu
GC--

I don't know much about Collapse Deluxe--I think it's a block game but I
have Acronis.

My guess would be that somewhere in the setup was an option to put icons on
the start menu. Maybe you missed it, or if they were there recently you
could try a system restore but this should be easy.

All you have to do is nail the icon.

1) Go to Acronis on the Programs menu and drag the icon to the desktop and
then drag it to the start menu and pin it there. Right click Start
button>properties>customize>make sure you have selected enough icons on the
start menu to allow it to show up.

2) Put a folder on the desktop. Right click it>change icon or customize
change icon>browse>drive Acronis is on\Program Files\Acronis and you should
be able to find a .dll or folder with the Acronis icon that you want>select
it. Now you can drag that icon to the start menu and pin it.

You can do the same with Collapse Deluxe.

Good luck,

CH

Re: Icons In Start Menu
Yes, Collapse is an old block game, time waster for when I'm not playing with
Windows. But no, I didn't miss anything on install, I've reinstalled Vista
several times and these two programs do this everytime. If I switch to the
Classic Start Menu they show up just fine. I know how to change the icons,
but thanks for your time anyway, maybey I'll figure it out...
