Vista RC1 not able to finnish <flash-> formating of a CD-RW

When I try ot format the cd-rw disk (TDK quality disk that generally works
under xp + nero6 etc) under Vista RC1 it complains that it was unable to
finnish the formating. What now?

I'm just guessing here, but Vista RC1 is obsolete and that is most
likely why no one responded. What version of Vista are you using?
And what tool are you using to format?
