DllHost.exe Issue
Hi. I am often in the sitution where I cannot delete or move a file, usually
and avi file, because it is being used by another process. I downloaded a
handy little utility called Unlocker that finds the process and allows you
to either kill or unlock. More often than not I find that DllHost.exe is the
culprit. Sometimes there are multiple instances of it with a different
Handle number. This doesn't make sense to me and I don't understand how an
AVI file can be locked by a process unless it is running. Any clues as to
what's going on here? Thanks - pbl.
