Loaded upgrade and want to reverse it
I loaded the Vista upgrade disc that came with my computer - didn't read it
closely enough to realize what I was loading. Want my old operating system
back, but the restore software is gone! What do I do?

Re: Loaded upgrade and want to reverse it
Hi,

Contact the manufacturer for a set of restore disks. There is no
uninstalling the upgrade, you will have to start clean using manufacturer
supplied media.

I'm curious as to how you could have not known what you were doing. Even
once started in earnest you could've cancelled out of the upgrade and
reverted to the original installation right up to the final reboot.
