IE 7 freezes

Recently my IE has started acting up. It freezes. I'll click on a link on
the page and the circle just turns round and round. The only way to
unfreeze it is to control-alt-delete end the program. Is anyone else having
this problem? Any cure for it?

For me it was as simple as deselecting the Google toolbar but if that's
not it you could run the "No add-ins" version of IE and if that works
then use the Add-in Manager to selectively remove addins until you find
the bad one.
My IE with no add-ins is in Start > Programs > Accessories > System
Tools.

You may have a bad IE add-on installed that is causing this. This
