Vista Superfetch la dee da. Innovation? This is ancient technology!
I remember back in windows 95 when you had 8 mb or if you
were lucky (and had lots of money) you would have 16 mb or ram,
some programs started coming out that would actually prefetch your
applications so they would run faster... reminds you of anything?
They could learn, and you also could manualy select what programs
to prefetch.. so its more like ths "innovation" vista has called superfetch.
Innovation my foot! this has been around since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Here is one I found for XP

im sure there are many out there. if you know of any other good one,
post. If its free, all the better...

Such 3rd party boosters for XP are snake oil and a waste of money. There is
a difference between prefetch and superfetch.

He posted this to make up for his other lame post, "superfetch for linux"

Since his precious Linux scene is copying something from MS (which no one
cares) then he feels the needs to downplay superfetch in general.
