Type CMD in Start Menu's search box.
When the result is shown, go ahead and
right click it, add it to the Start Menu or Quick Launch.
Now, you'll have it handy.
After you do that, right click CMD and click
Run as Administrator.
Type, slmgr -rearm
Hit enter. Wait a bit, and then
reboot. Your back to 30 days.
I'm don't think what you want to do will work with
an express upgrade key. Now, had you obtained
Vista Home Premium by other means, and then
waited until you could purchase it retail, that key
would work fine. You wouldn't have to reinstall.
The express upgrade disk will want to see a legacy OS
installed, and not Vista. It seems if you try to enter the
upgrade key in a retail version, it won't work. I could be wrong.
I've probably confused you, I confused myself.

Uh, without sounding too dumb, what is an elevated command? From the run command in windows,
or maybe the C: prompt? If I did this, I could run it for 30+30+30 days if need be before I
get my express upgrade and then could use that key?
