Cannot send an email using a webmail

I am unable to send emails using my office's MS Web Access on a Vista platform.
Everytime i click on the Send button, the whole IE becomes disabled
(greyed-out) and closes after a few seconds. have tried it a couple of times
but has been unsuccessful. my friend tried to access her office's MS Web
email and was also getting the same result. (the URLs of our Web emails are
already added in the Trusted Site of the IE).

For now we've been using her laptop, which is a WinXP platform, to access
both our Web Emails and we are able to send mails successfully.

I'd really appreciate some fix on this. Just bought my laptop last month and
I can't say that i'm happy with vista at the moment.

The problem is on the Web Access server, it needs to have this patch applied
before it will work under IE7:
