As per my original question, there are no firewalls running inside my LAN
(including on the Vista PC). UPnp is also already turned on, unfortunately.
So, thanks, but I don't think that's it.
It happened again yesterday, this time definitely not due to a PC reboot. I
got access back by disabling then re-enabling media sharing in WMP11 -
whether that was fix or coincidence though, I cannot say.
