Office 97 Pro document converts to '2 month trial' Office 2007 for
I don't want Office 2007 format, I want my Office 97 Pro format. The system
keeps converting everything I do to the new format. Not being able to find a
way to do this i uninstalled Office 97. Now, when I open Excel I see, "One
of your object libraries (stdole32.tlb) is missing or damaged". When I open
Word I get the message, "The Windows registry has reported that one or more
required files are damange or missing. To correct this problem, run the Word
Setup program" In both cases, when I hit, "Ok" I'm taken to the document (or
general Excel or Word).

I've tried to find and/or run these particular setup programs with no
success. Although I seem to be able to use these programs it's a little
disconcerting to have to clear this error message each time I enter one of
these programs. Any help would be appreciated.

One other quick note .. Each time I clicked on "New" to ask this question I
received a, "Pop-up blocked" bar. I had to disable pop-up blocking in order
to ask this question.
