Vista Remote Desktop to XP or MCE 2005
I use a notebook to surf the web and check email and all of my application
work happens on my MCE 2005 system when apps are installed. I use remote
desktop today from an XP pro notebook to access that system.

It is hard to understand the remote desktop in Vista. Apparently there are
different versions in Vista.

Can Vista Premium connect to an XP/MCE RDC connection to take over that
system or do I require the ultimate version? Really don't want to spend the
extra money if I don't have to.

Re: Vista Remote Desktop to XP or MCE 2005
The Home Premium edition of Vista does not have business networking or
Remote Desktop. You need either the Business or Ultimate edition for Remote
Desktop ability.
