Active Desktop gone?
Is it still possible to have web pages on the desktop like in XP? I used to
add such pages to my XP desktop for monitoring our aquariums with webcams.

If it is possible, then how? Cant find anything in personalization, but
maybe I am looking in the wrong places. Help is no....help.

You can achieve a similar sort of thing using the Gadgets platform.
Essentially the sidebar gadgets are webpages.

However that would require a bit of coding.

I've read that Motion Desktop will allow this, or there will be some other
Ultimate Extra that allows it, or maybe not. Who knows.

Re: Active Desktop gone?
Thanks for the replies. Bummer that it isn't easily achieved, though.
