Yes, that did work fine. I never use a double-wide or larger Task Bar so I
never thought to try that. You must grab it and pull it down to the bottom
and pull it over to the Start button, once you close any open tabs then you
can pull it up back to its original location and then reopen any
tabs/programs.
Has anyone had any success move the Quick Launch in Vista to the top of the
page, or side of the screen? On some of my XP machines I keep the QL Bar on
top of the screen because some users like to have many items, ie all their
icons from the desktop on the QL Bar and it crowds out the Task Bar items so
that works well for them but in Vista I haven't yet gotten the method to move
the QL anywhere but next to the right side of the Task Bar.
