Multi-Select in Windows Explorer
I'm running build 6000 and recently haven't been able to change the folder
view, or multi-select any files in Windows Explorer.
Each time I open a folder, it opens in 'Large Icon' mode and I cannot
multi-select files.
I've tried Shift-Click, Ctrl-Click and can't even draw a rectangle around
multiple files anymore.
Ctrl-A does nothing and the 'Select All' option under Organize is greyed
out.
I've done a 'Reset Folders' and even set up a folder with the settings I
want, then tried 'Apply to Folders' but each time I revisit any folder, I
get presented with Large Icon view.
I've un-checked 'Remember each folder's view settings' and tried switching
back to Windows Classic and still cannot multi-select files in any folder.
Anyone any ideas as to what's gone wrong and how I can correct this?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Me too
After a bit of playing around, I've found that if I check 'Remember each
folder's view settings' (Folder Options > View) then do a 'Reset Folders' I
seem to be able to multi-select again.
After using 'Apply to Folders' and getting everything how I want it, I've
now un-checked the 'Remember each folders view settings' and everything has
been OK for the last day or so.
Hope this helps
