Vista services WMI script
I wrote a little script that will display all the enabled services on your system. You can call it through the command line:

cscript.exe "\PathTo\name.vbs"

The names in brackets are the international names of the services, the full names are the localised names.

I'll also paste my output below, the services set to "auto" are ABSOLUTELY necessary, NEVER disable any of them! My vista is German,
so don't pay attention to the full names of services, look at the names in the brackets.

I've left only 40 services enabled, the rest is crap

---------------
Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:\\.\root\cimv2")
Set Services = objWMIService.ExecQuery("select * from Win32_Service")
wscript.echo "Enabled services:" & VbCrLf
i=1
For Each oInstance In Services
if oInstance.startmode = "Auto" then
wscript.echo i & ") " & oInstance.displayname & " (" & oInstance.name & ") -> " & oInstance.startmode & VbCrLf
i = i+1
end if
next
count = 1
For Each oInstance In Services
count = count + 1
if oInstance.startmode = "Manual" then
wscript.echo i & ") " & oInstance.displayname & " (" & oInstance.name & ") -> " & oInstance.startmode & VbCrLf
i = i+1
end if
next
wscript.echo i-1 & " services out of " & count-1 & " enabled"
------------------------

My output:
