Default user profile
I am looking for a way to modify a users profile and import it into the
default users profile as done in XP.

I attempted to paste the new setting into the Users\Default profile but am
getting an accessed denied error.

It's buried a bit, but the interface is the same. Open User Accounts in the
Control Panel, then click Configure Advance User Profile Properties.
