Help uploading pictures to ebay.
Good morning
Here is my problem. I recently got a new computer from Dell. It came with
Vista on it and Macfee pre installed. I transferred my entire old computer
to the new. When I went to sell something on my e-bay account I was unable
to upload pictures from my computer to ebay. I spent the better of 5 hrs
with ebay tech support changing security setting (enabling active X and
allowing pop ups) they were unable to correct the problem. In short when I
go to the “sell “ aria in ebay, “add picture” and double click on the photo I
want to add nothing uploads. There are no warning screens and no security
advisement. I was then told to use the “enhanced “ tab in ebay (this uses
active X (??) ) There is suppose to be some buttons/ tabs here that at
related to active x. They do not even show up… There (ebay) assessment
reveled that there is a setting in Vista blocking these events from
completing. I have even tried turning off the fire wall in vista and turning
off Macfee, still it does not work.
HELP

Thanks,
Tim

Re: Help uploading pictures to ebay.
Open IE, Tools menu, Options, Security tab, "Custom Level" button. You will
find settings for things like the Phishing filter, and other settings that
might do that..
