windows update fails with error code 8007000D

I'm using Windows Vista Business. When I try to do windows update I get
error code 8007000D. I am an administrator on my PC. Any ideas?

It's not a specific update, it's windows update itself.

I click Start|Windows Update|Check For Updates and I get
this error.

You might want to try the new Microsoft Windows Update Reset Tool
http://www.codeplex.com/aureset

YMMV so make a System Restore Point first.
