Files on dvd-rw dont show up

Hi

I've been burning data dvd's off my home pc to transfer files onto my laptop
but when I use the explore option in vista, none of the files are shown. I
know theyre there because I can copy off the audio files using iTunes but I
cant get hold of the rest. Can anyone tell me why?

Are the files invisible on both computers? Are both computers running
Vista?

From a command prompt I would try typing
dir /a [your dvd drive]:\
to see any hidden files on the dvd.
