Restore points have disappeared
Hi,
I recently began having problems with my computer running slow, I received
some good advice from the newgroups and applied the instructions that were
given.
The computer performance improved a little and things seemed to be much or
less back to normal, except for the slowness.
Today I seemed unable to open web pages, even though I was clearly connected
to the internet.
I thought I'd try a system restore, but on opening it up, I was told no
restore points had been made, even though this was not the case, I had
restore points upto 6 months back, but somehow they have now disappeared.
I made a manual restore point to today, restarted and now that restore point
has also disappeared.
Can anyone shed any light on how I now go about restoring to an earlier time
before these problems occurred.
Any help appreciated.
Best regards
Denise
