Color Issues
Not sure where to post this, but I set up dual monitors earlier today and
everything worked fine. After a bit I decided I didn't want to use that
setup, so I took one monitor out. Next thing I know the display has a
yellow/green cast, with seemingly no blue at all. Thought it was the
monitor, but I tried another and the colors are exactly the same. I tried
the color management stuff, but didn't find it to be of any use. What can I
do?

Thanks

Everytime I've seen this it ALWAYS was a loose cable either at the
monitor end or at the computer. I had this once too with my big screen
Plasma, was a defective component cable. Every time there was a slight
vibration it would loose red.

You can of course REALLY mess things up if your fiddle with color
management. Open Color Management and see what's showing for your
graphic card. Click on the Profiles tab and pick default Typically
you should see the details for what you have installed. Now if you
want to get fancy you can add a profile that is more tuned to your
device or how you use your device. You'll probably see a list of
drivers when you click add. Do NOT install unless you're known you're
putting back something that you may have taken away. This section is
more for professional use when for example you want to match color
output for prepress work for your printer and stuff like that. Many
monitors, especially the high end ones also have special profiles that
you can add as well that should give truer color reproduction. Another
common selection if you have Photoshop is one of their profiles
depending how you use Photoshop.
