Convert Office 2003 documents to Office 2007
I know you can do this document-by-document by opening each document
individually and clicking "Upgrade" or whatever, but is there a way to
convert all your Office documents at once?

Thanks!

Thanks, but isn't there anything more user-friendly? I'm afraid I won't be
able to use something as low-level as that.

Re: Convert Office 2003 documents to Office 2007

Unless you have dozens of different files that you need to access every
day, most of them dont need to be converted because they are historical.
Save everything to a separate place (Office 2003 folder or something).
Then, if and when you need one, load it and save to 2007 format in your
current folder. That makes the conversion almost painless, or as
painless as 2007 can be. Of course, you always have to be sure the
current program continues to be backwards compatible. And of course you
want to save your originals in earlier version just in case.
