Vista Snipping Tool stopped working with Outlook 2003

I've been using Vista and it's snipper tool and outlook 2003 for over a year
with no problems, now in the last couple of days, when I past from a snip,
this image is not dispalyed, instead get the red x ... if I change to render
using using word, the image is displayed, but I do not want to render HTML
using word!!!

You have that snipping tool because the "Tablet PC Optional Components" is
installed. The "Programs and Features" in Control Panel let you remove and
add back the Tablet install, in "Turn Windows Features on and off"
