Foreign Language

If I wanted my Windows Vista to be in Spanish, how would I go about that?
Can I just tell it to change to Spanish or do I have to buy a Spanish
version of Vista? If I have to buy a Spanish version what are all those
language fonts about? Thanks.

Yes.

Fonts are like color schemes, desktop themes, "skins", and whatnot. They
change the superficial appearance of what you see but not the underlying
substance.

If you have Ultimate there are about 15 language packs including Spanish
available for download as ultimate extras. After they are installed you can
easily switch vista to another languages by selecting one and logging
out/back on again.

If the application is language-aware, it will change too. Most won't because
they were not designed to. Application such as Macromedia Fireworks 8 do
switch language if you install a Windows launguage pack. Depends on if the
program specifically asks the OS for the language, or assumes english.

That was my undestanding but since I couldn't draw any limit lines I
just left it as a warning.
