How to view Excel document without Microsoft Office Excel installe
I bought new PC of Vista Home edition. I can't view a Excel made document
that was sent to me by friend because my new visa PC has no Microsoft Office
Excel be installed.

Is there anyway that I can view the document that made by Microsoft Office
Excel since I have no Microsoft office Excel be installed?

Help please. Could everybody please help me? Thank You for your time and
attention.

If you only want to view the files and not change anything on them (and have
no need for a spreadsheet program), then you can install the free viewer
from Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/000/viewers.asp

If you'd like to be able to change things but don't want to purchase MS
Office (which has never been a part of any Windows operating system BTW),
then OpenOffice is an excellent office suite which can read and write MS
Office formats. It is free and available from www.openoffice.org.

There's also OpenOffice, which would let you do more than view.

C'mon boys and girls, let's stop thinking Microsoft and start thinking Open:

You can get Office 2007 Ultimate edition from several places (Amazon, for
example) for less than $400.

Then you'll be all set.

And then there's... Open... Office... which views any Microsoft Office file, from Excel and Word to Powerpoint and Access, and lets you edit them and or convert them to other formats, for free.

For free.

I've been using it for awhile, and it's beautiful. Just beautiful. Microsoft is doomed to lose its grip--utterly--on the business applications market.
