I Don't Like Ubuntu, Ubuntu Sucks, Vista Rocks, Just FYI

Don't be fooled. Linux isn't 'stepping up'. It is not, hasn't been for the 8
years that I've followed it, and probably never will be suitable for
mainstream desktop computing. Last time it was apparently 'stepping up',
there were Linux magazines available and all sorts. MS spends millions
ensuring that their product provides what their target audience wants.
Whether it works smoothly or not is another matter. Linux (in it's Ubuntu
incarnation) on the other hand, looks virtually the same as it did back in
the days when Red Hat was due to take over the world. It doesn't listen to
what the majority of people want. I'm sure the acid test for most people
would be being able to install their copy of MS Office natively, with the
same ease as in Windows. Can you do that?

Linux is great as a server, but it's too raw and clunky as a desktop. But
hey, it has some nice screensavers! :-)

Great as a toy...not so great as a business/work tool. The majority of
people that I know through work and personal life, do not want OpenOffice or
other such applications. They want to use their Works or Office software.

needs no terminal work to get it or keep it going. Ubuntu has come along

the grub order with a GUI. NTFS drives are automagically recognized.

too, some of them. My kid likes Japanese videos and Windows won't cut it
