Acer supplied your laptop with an OEM copy of Vista. OEM copies do not have
any Microsoft support. The only support available is from Acer themselves.
It is 'their' responsibility. Obviously you purchased the laptop from a
store rather than directly from Acer, therefore it is up to the store to
sort the problem out. The store should contact Acer to find out what they
should do.
