Is it normal to have 2 program files folders
I have just upgraded my Vista Home Premium from 32bit to 64bit. I did a
clean install. However I now have 2 Program Files folders. One is Program
Files, the other is Program Files (x86).

Is this normal, or have I done something wrong during the upgrade? I have
tried to delete the (x86) one, but it doesn't allow me to do this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Perfectly normal. Program Files is where the 64-bit programs are installed
and Program Files (86) is where the 32-bit programs are installed

It's normal.

The x86 location is for 32 bit programs. You may not find much in the 64 bit
folder that wasn't installed as part of Vista.

Return address scrambled. Replace nkbob with bobkn.
