Control panel
Running Vista Home Premium wth SP1, Aero and allWhen I open Control Panel
it is in default mode, I want Classic so click classic, CP opens in classic
in 2nd window OK. Close CP and reopen , Back in default mode!!!.
How do I make it stay in Classic?

PS, it used to do that some time ago

Regards Rene

Re: Control panel
since you say it opens classic view in a 2nd window - have you tried closing
the classic window last of all

Thanks, Jetro and Bob, you put me on track, If I closed the second window
last it would come back classic from the start menu But default if I opened
it from the desk top Icon.
So I deleted the desktop Icon and closed the second window and moved a new
Icon to the desktop which now works fine for classic view.
Wierd but wonderfull.

Regards, Rene
