Only the very latest version of QuickBooks will work with Vista. If you
have it and are still having difficulties, try installing it with
elevated privileges.

Other than that:

Re: Quick Books
Do you happen to know if I'll be able to share files and info between users
if one person is on XP and I'm on Vista? I'm assuming both will have to have
the upgraded program but will we be able to share the files still?

Re: Quick Books
I'm sure it did, but it will not work on Vista. See Intuits support site to
determine Vista compatible versions, I believe only 2007 will work.

Re: Quick Books
If you use the multi user mode. These are really questions for Intuit
support.

Hi Kathy,

This won't make you too happy.
We have a multiuser version of QuickBooks 2006. Intuit is not providing
Vista compatibility except by the purchase of QuickBooks 2007. This is a
$900+ dollar expense for the multiuser version.
This is another unfortunate example of how expensive it can be to
"upgrade" from XP/Windows Server 2003 to Vista/Windows Server 2007.

Robbie
