Unexplained CPU usage solved
This is just a mass message for people who are dealing with some heavy fan
usage. I noticed recently that my PC would become extremely loud and the
fan would begin to make a loud noise as though the system was under some
serious CPU usage.

I have never had this issue in the past with my PC and it only began to
happen after VISTA had been installed. Unlike alot of consumers out there
I LOVE VISTA!!!, and I was bound and determined to solve why this was
happening. After several attempts to replicate this, I have found the
cause of my problem

NERO Ultra and Vista

It is not so much NERO as it is the NERO mobile that is installed with the
newest version 7.xxx. When you attempt to sync a device with the computer,
NERO begins something on the device which causes excessive CPU usage. I
uninstalled NERO and I reinstalled it without the NERO mobile checked and
my computer is back to normal.

Did you know that you can run a tool that may have told you that the problem
was NERO.

Open Performance Information and tools (Use the search box, just enter "Perf
Tools")
Select Advanced Tools
Click Generate a system health report.
