Setup error 105
An application program fails to install with Vista. The first error message
is "set an association" and the file identified appears to be: _INSO432_MP. I
can't find any extension like this in the Default Programs listing.
I also get Setup Error message 105 which I cannot find any information about.
And, I get a message: ISSET_SE caused a General Protection Fault.
The program installs OK on an Xp computer.

Re: Setup error 105
You could try running the setup for the app in Compatibility Mode. Create a
shortcut to the exe that runs setup, and set the Properties of that shortcut
to use XP compat. mode.

Re: Setup error 105
Thanks Mark, it worked like a charm. The program author said he had not heard
of the problem before and suggested it was probably caused by a spam blocker,
etc.
