laptop frozen on log off

hello, can anyone tell me how restart my laptop ? i tried to log off but it
has froze on the logging off screen. have tried turning it off and on but
still shows logging off.

Hold the power button in long enough for the computer to actually turn off.

Another way,

Remove Power & the Battery

then reinsert battery & power

thanks for your help, i was,nt holding power button in enough and as
restarting it problem was still there. thanks again problem solved.
