Hi BCCS,
If all the System tray icons are not appearing correctly, then you
might try resetting them to see if it will help. You can see how here.

If it is just the Network icon that is not displaying correctly, then
make sure that these Services are set this way below. If you need to

1. Network Connections - Started, Manual
2. Network List Service - Started, Automatic
3. Network Location Awareness - Started, Automatic
4. Network Store Interface Service - Started, Automatic
