Problem with IE7/Vista , thx

hey guys, im a student who has just bought a new HP comp with Vista
Premium yesterday. i began to set everything up and personalize my
computer at home. Then, after installing my printer, i tried to browse
the internet again, but IE7 wouldnt open (note that i've successfully
opened IE7 before it crashed). i tried many times clicking the icons,
shortcuts, but still the same thing. it'll always tell me that
"Internet explorer has stopped working" and then it'll check for
solutions....

However, i right-clicked the IE7 icon and chose "Run as administrator",
and IE7 poped out. This is the only way taht i can use the internet
browser.
I have thought of uninstalling IE7 and reinstall it but common, this is
only my second day of purchase..so im pretty frustrated.

Anyone got any ideas? thx!!

Re: Problem with IE7/Vista , thx
sounds like something happened during the printer installation.
can you uninstall it and see what happens.

Re: Problem with IE7/Vista , thx

thx for the reply. i brought my computer in for technical support at
Fry's and the technician pulled out 'system config' and disabled start
ups, restarted, and abled IE7. He told me that its because Vista is
still not so stable and there are some bugs between the system and IE7.
However, im still happy that i got it fixed..and i hope anyone who faces
my problem can use this step and solve the problem..
