Vista Error: Event ID 412, Task Scheduler - Error Value 2147942402

Event ID 412.
This error is listed as a Service Critical Error.
The Scheduler service failed to launch tasks triggered by computer startup.
Aditional Data: Error value: 2147942402
User action: restart task scheduler service.

The thing is the task scheduler service is running all right.
Also task scheduler has 0 failed tasks listed.
Any ideas?

have had the same problem and when I try to follow the online instruction to
"restart"-- that function is not available in the Task scheduler properties
dialog box.
