Why has MS ruined field level context sensitive help?
So what's the alternative here now that MS made the messed up decision to
get rid of the ability to pop up *formatted* context senstive help boxes
with hlp help? My customers find this very useful. I know I can still use
unformatted boxes but they are far from as useful as the formatted ones. And
from what I understand a customer would have to download the (if it's really
going to be made) utility from MS to see them anyway. This whole change
sucks in a big way. Why are thay taking away this functionality wihtout
providing an alternative? From what I've read there isn't one. It appears
that for some reson they made the decision that field level context
sensitive help is not important. Who would make such a stupid decision?
Don't take away functionality!!! If you need to move forward at least
provide an alternative. So far I haven't seen one. If anyone knows of one
please let me know (other than having the entire help file open up).
