what is the anytime upgrade disc for ??
I received the anytime upgrade disc when I purchased this computer. I want
to upgrade from Home Basic to Home Premium. I went to the anytime upgrade
site and it said I pay for the upgrade then a disc will be sent to me through
the mail. What then is the disc that I received with the computer for??? At
no time during the attempted purchase did it say to insert this disk for
anything...what is it used for then??

RE: what is the anytime upgrade disc for ??
Hi KwanYin 62,
I think the anytime upgrade disc which came along with
your computer when you purchased your computer is used to help you upgrade to
any higher version of the Windows Vista operating system you want, so even
after you have upgraded to another higher version of the Windows Vista
operating system, you can use that same disc to upgrade to another higher
version of the Windows Vista operating system which is higher than the
version of the Windows Vista operating system you upgraded to.

I think the other disc you were told by the anytime upgrade website you
would be sent is the installation disc for the Windows Vista Home Premium
operating system. There are two ways to download and install a software. The
first one is to download it through the internet or the world wide web and
the second one is to download and install it using a disc.

This is what I think. I hope the answer I have provided you with will help
you in solving your current problem or question.

Thanks.

Shirley Osei-Mensah.
