System protection
In the System applet in control panel, there is a choice on the left for
"System Protection" but all it does is bring up the system properties dialog.
What is the meaning of this? Seems like either I'm missing something or
something's not working.

You don't get it set to the System Protection tab to work with System
Restore?

You should see the settings for System Restore.

AH That makes sense. No, our AD policies disable system restore, so it just
goes to the first tab of the system properties screen. I get it now, though.
I wonder if Windows shouldn't detect if there is a group policy set so as to
not display that option at all, since it is pretty confusion, to me at least.
