Basically, you cannot if you want full functionality.
VS 2005 predates Vista and was not designed with the Vista security model in
mind.
Orcas, OTOH, is designed for the Vista security model and will give you
greater flexibility.
There is a public CTP of Orcas available if you wish to check it out, but be
aware this is a pre-beta CTP.

Meanwhile, have you installed both SP1 and the VS 2005 Vista patch? I don't
know offhand if they will make a difference, as I just "run as
administrator" to do my work.
