COM Surrogate has stopped working

I am getting the error "COM Surrogate has stopped working" whenever I browse
folders containing Divx avi files

I have Nero 7 installed as well

Any help on the above would be appreciated

Via Google this was the fix

In Explorer, click Organize > Folder and Search Options (or Tools > Folder
Options), then go to the View tab. Checkmark Always show icons, never
thumbnails.

It's all ok now

It's some times back again

I have tried to update but reports connection problem could be Vista
settings

I have at present ver. 7.5.91 Nero

I have just upgraded Nero to 7.7.5.1 and it looks like it is ok now

Exactly, with the latest version of Nero the problem dissapear.
