Does it not say in the EULA? Some are 1, some are 3, some are unlimited.
If it's a full retail version, it's probably 1 or 3. This might answer a
"May I..." question. "Can I..." is another story. I am sure you want to
stay legal, so we won't go there.

On the Help menu, click About <product name>.
Click View the End-User License Agreement.

You will find something like,
1.1 Installation and use. You may:
(a) install and use a copy of the Software on one personal computer or
other device; and
(b) install an additional copy of the Software on a second, portable device
for the exclusive use of the primary user of the first copy of the Software.

Re: Office Home and Student 2007

Up Front. YES I DO WANT TO STAY LEGAL!!! The reason I asked is 'cause I
first purchasrd it to load to another machine, having done so said
machine crashed less than a week later (it was only less than three
weeks old, brand new). The retailer has a thirty day return policy. So I
got this machine. Now I want to load to this machine. Now that you
mention it if I would of used my brain and looked at the package I would
of seen that it is "Liscened for 3 PC's" One other question if I may be
so bold? I also noticed the lable says "Office Home and Student 2007
Win32" Does this mean that it will only opperate correctly on a 32bit
OS? Or can it be used on a x64 OS, and if so will it opperate correctly?
O.K. I've been long winded enough for now. I really do appreciate any
and all help that I get. Thank You, Bare Foot Kid

It can be used on a 64-bit OS and will operate correctly. I know because I
use the same product on Vista X64. Is that the OS you have?
(Also, you might want to check newsgroups dedicated to Office if you have
more questions. Folks here are willing to help, but you might get more
knowledgeable answers there. )

Question: Billy Joel. Jesus. Same person?

Re: Office Home and Student 2007

I intend to work toward a dual boot w/ HP32bit and X64 Ultimate. It
seems I have 2 activations left of office and I think that if I do
migrate to X64 Ultimate I will need them. As to your Question...
> Billy Joel. Jesus. Same person?

I thinl there are a couple of differences !
