Elevated Permissions
Does anyone know what the new commands are for "ipconfig /release" and
"/renew". I am trying to run this but I get the message that I need
"elevated Permissions" to do this even though I have full
admisistrator rights. Whats going on here?

Re: Elevated Permissions
Hi Terry,

When UAC is enabled, you'll need to open an elevated Command Prompt to run those commands. To open an elevated Command Prompt window, use these steps:

Click Start, type cmd.exe When the Instant search results are shown, right-click the cmd.exe entry and choose Run as administrator. Or using keyboard, select the cmd.exe in the Instant search results using the UP/DOWN arrow and press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER on the keyboard.

Re: Elevated Permissions
If I could just add try pinning the CMD, or a shortcut to CMD, on to the
start menu, the benefit is you can configure its properties so that it
always 'Run As Administrator' from that location.
