Cd key for other windows vista language version

Hi at all i have windows vista business in english (and i am italian) i want
to change the language display but i read in some discussione that i can
change the language witu mui (only in ultimate and enterpisre versione) or
lip (and unfortunally the lip for vista aren't ready in download section)...
Now a friend of mine have windows vista business in italian and i have
thinked: if i install his version of windows vista busuiness (in italian) and
use my cd key (for english version) it will work?

p.s. i dont have already activate my windows vista.

IIRC it did with Windows XP.
You can try and report back so we know it it will work with vista as
well.

what is IIRC?

Mereover it work; with windows vista business copy in italian of my friend
the key work and i have activate with success. update work all work.
