vista to vista windows easy file transfer companion

I know the wefc works for xp to vista. can i used this for vista to vista
transfers. I really dont want to go trough installing all my apps again.

That only works with WindowsXP Service Pack 2 to Vista US localization only.
Even though I had that setup, I couldn't get it to work across my local
network.
