Movie Maker Music Import

Hello,

I have a new computer running windows Vista Home Premium. I have copied all
my collection of mp3s from my old computer that were stored on an external
HD. All my music is running fine using Itunes and windows media player
however whenever I want to import any of my mp3s into Windows Movie Maker it
doesnt work whereas it was working fine on XP...If I drag and drop mp3 files
into Movie Maker, the program just crashes and when I use the import function
within Movie Maker I get an "unspecified error" message. The only music that
Movie Maker will allow to import is the shabby collection of mp3s that came
as default with Vista...All my music is legal coming either from ripped
original CDs or bought via Itunes. Can anybody help me resolve that problem?
