Vista Speech Recognition Languages
Hello

I have speech recognition up, running and working fine in UK English. I
would like to set it to the Chinese Simplified language, but the only two
options I have are UK English and American English.

How do you install/set the speech recognition to Chinese Simplified?

Thank you all for your time,

Richard Hughes

Re: Vista Speech Recognition Languages
It supports it, but you have to download the Language pack through Windows
Vista Ultimate Extras in Control Panel > Windows Update for Simplified
Chinese.

Re: Vista Speech Recognition Languages
Thank you.

Hmm, I have Vista Home Premium. Is there any way that I can achieve the same
result with this OS rather than Ultimate?

Thanks

Re: Vista Speech Recognition Languages
No, Multi-lingual User Interfaces (MUIs) are only available in Windows Vista
Ultimate.
